Lawyer at the Superior Court of Justice. Member of the Luxembourg Bar since 1962 and founding partner of Schaeffer, Hengel, Geiben & Associés in 1966, Nico SCHAEFFER studied at the University of Strasbourg and Paris, France (Doctor of Law 1962). He also graduated from the Institute of Political Studies in Paris (1961).
Nico SCHAEFFER was President of the Luxembourg Bar Association from 1990 to 1991 and a member of the Council of the Luxembourg Bar Association from 1976 to 1978. He is also a member of the Conference of European Presidents and Presidents – Entretiens de Vienne.
